Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, and developmental activities for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home. Couples initially work a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, then transition to a placed Houseparent with a stable student-home assignment. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, supervising wellness, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and planning recreational and developmental activities. Requires married couples, both spouses age 27 or older, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license (ability to become certified to drive student vans), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; relocation assistance and paid training provided. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
