Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus to supervise and support a group of approximately 8–13 students, provide daily supervision and mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, ultimately transitioning to a placed houseparent with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver7s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
