Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of 8–13 students, supervise daily routines, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, manage budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine-on/three-off scheduling to a placed houseparent role with the same students. Requires a married two-person team, aging 27+, experience with youth, on-campus living, relocation to the job site, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse role who are legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
