Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising 8–13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development. Duties include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across various student homes, with eventual placement in a single student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- School-age youth supervision experience or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
