Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School, a two-person couple position located on campus in the Hershey, PA area. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, supervision, and development support for approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, routine management, medications administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and recreational activities. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social growth. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and evolves into a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married (for consideration)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
