Job Summary
Full-time two-person houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, including medication administration, transportation to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule initially and eventual placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
