Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside on campus in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, activity planning, devotions, budgeting, and student-wellness support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students. The position is a two-person, married-couple role; relocation assistance is provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying to Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
