Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and budgeting/household reporting. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; two spouses must apply individually and meet age and residency requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
