Job Summary
Flex Houseparents provide care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The role includes supervising routines, administering medications, coordinating transportation and activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. This is a two-person, full-time position for legally married couples, with relocation to Hershey, PA contemplated and on-campus housing/benefits included. The job emphasizes a family-like environment, youth development, faith-based activities, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. The work schedule initially involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual long-term placement in the same student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for two-person role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Chapel services
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty

- Demonstrated integrity
