Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes (typically 8–13 students) and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning development and recreation, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group. Benefits include salary per person with comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and housing/meal utilities. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift to 50 lbs, and a two-year married-couple eligibility with both spouses completing separate applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
