Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents will reside on campus in Highland Park, NJ to care for a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support. Responsibilities include supervising household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-consecutive-days-on duty schedule followed by three days off, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same students in their own home. Relocation assistance is provided, and paid training plus comprehensive benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year legal marriage minimum
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities
- Willingness to reside in on-campus student homes and manage group of 8–13 students
- Acceptance of relocation to Hershey, PA area
