Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role initially supports multiple student homes with a nine-on, three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same student group in a dedicated home; relocation to Hershey, PA is part of the opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet restrictions (fish and one dog of approved breeds)
- Completed individual employment applications by both spouses
