Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship to 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from flexible to placed houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) with total compensation around $180,000 per couple, relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. Requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses age 27+, on-campus housing, and ability to lift 50 lbs; background checks and driving certification for student vehicle use are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse partnership and willingness to be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
