Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services. Plan developmental and recreational activities while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various homes on a nine-on-three-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a single student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license. This two-person role offers a salary of $44,768 per person, free housing, meals, and relocation assistance at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
