Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: married couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and activities, with responsibilities including managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading devotions, chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. Starts on a rotating schedule (nine days on, three off) and transitions to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Supervisory and caregiving duties across student homes, relocation to Hershey, PA, with comprehensive benefits and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth (Preference for volunteer/paid experience)
