Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, manage budgeting, and report on household matters. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transitioning to a placed houseparent. Includes relocation to on-campus housing with full benefits and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proficiency in leading devotions and chapel participation
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
