Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person married couple role living in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students, including managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially supporting various student homes on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include comprehensive coverage and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and reside on campus
- Committing to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Ability to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
