Job Summary
Care for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes as part of a Full-time Flex Houseparent team. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and adapting to a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement in a consistent student home. Requires a two-person married-couple team, relocation to Hershey, PA, on-campus housing and benefits, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; candidates must meet age and licensing requirements and have a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Spouses both aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Chapel services
- Relocation assistance provided
