Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver: Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, a two-person, married-couple role providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel participation, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from flexible to a placed houseparent. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, willingness to relocate to Hershey area, and a commitment to a trauma-informed, faith-based student environment. Salary per person around $44,768 with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; schedule includes nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
