Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) live in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students across a rotating schedule (nine days on, three off) with eventual placement in a single student home; duties include managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting/reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married two-person couple at least 27 years old; relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples who are legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Commitment to student success; on-campus housing arrangement
