Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School to live in on-campus student homes with a pair of married guardians. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. The role requires two spouses who are legally married, both aged 27+, to perform the duties, with relocation assistance provided. Salary is per person, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
