Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role for married couples to live on campus at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. Initially, couples work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
