Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live on-campus at Milton Hershey School to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and structured routines for 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervising and guiding students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and implementing a nine-on/three-off duty cycle with eventual placement into a single student-home role. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with housing and meals, comprehensive insurance, retirement, paid time off, relocation assistance, and paid training. Requires two-person, married partners age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
