Job Summary
Married couples are hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and guiding a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, couples work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person of $46,917 plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Qualifications require youth experience, a two-person married couple, both spouses aged 27+, up to three dependent children, clean campus conduct, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED; expansion to a role with daily devotions and chapel is noted.
