Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents living on Milton Hershey School’s campus to supervise and nurture 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Schedule initially follows nine consecutive days on duty with three days off, with unscheduled time on weekdays while students are in school; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Qualifications require experience with youth, a legally married two-year couple, both spouses aged 27+, High School diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, comfort leading devotions, and adherence to campus policies on conduct and religion.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years

- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
