Job Summary
Two-person married couple sought as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to reside on campus and provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Initially work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person around $46,917 (total compensation for the couple ~ $180,000), relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
