Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initial nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students; includes relocation benefits and comprehensive health/dental/vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Two-spouse collaboration in a role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (on-campus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Pet limitation compliance (fish and one dog)
