Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent pair at Milton Hershey School. Residence-based care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes, offering supervision, mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leadership of devotions and chapel. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same student group. Includes budgeting oversight, household reporting, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
