Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and a family-like environment for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role with a consistent home group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Pro-social conduct on a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
