Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same students. Benefits include salary per person with total compensation for a couple, comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid time off, and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married for commitment to the role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Must be legally married for at least two years; two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- On-campus residency at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required
