Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting, following a nine-on, three-off duty pattern with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-person role for couples—must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; alcohol not permitted while on duty
- Pet restrictions: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
