Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a married couple will reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and can transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same students. Relocation assistance is provided along with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement (both must complete individual applications)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the home
- Prolonged on-campus residence on assignment
- On-campus residence in a student home for 8–13 students
