Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, accompanying students to chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires commitment to a structured, family-like environment and eligibility for relocation to the on-campus home; benefits include salary per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Prohibited on-duty alcohol, smoke-free and weapon-free campus
