Job Summary
Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes with a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and chapel attendance. They oversee budgeting and household reporting, work a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule initially, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students in their home. Requires a two-person married couple, both spouses 27+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans

- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
