Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. The position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more are part of total compensation. Requires a two-spouse, legally married partnership, both spouses aged 27 or older, and high school diploma or GED, with a willingness to meet on-campus requirements and adhere to campus rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience with youth preferred
