Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Milton Hershey School student homes, guiding a group of 8–13 students. They provide daily supervision, mentorship, and oversight of routines, medications, and wellness; drive students to activities; plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities; lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting. The nine-on/three-off rotation starts with nine consecutive days on duty and transitions into a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. This role requires a legally married two-person team, ages 27+, willing to relocate to Liberty, Texas, with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits, including relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities for students
- Willingness to relocate and live on campus on a two-person schedule
