Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-day-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes, with eventual placement in a single student home as a Placed Houseparent. Relocation is provided, and the position includes comprehensive benefits for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person married couple role required
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
