Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, mentor and provide care, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-consecutive-days-on duty followed by three days off, transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of marriage or longer
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Willingness to live on campus in a family-style residential setting
- Two-person couple household requirement
- On-campus housing provided
- Planned transition from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent
