Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on an on-campus student home in Highland Park, IL, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
