Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role for married couples to reside on-campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples provide care, supervision, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotional activities and Sunday Chapel. The position starts with a nine-on/three-off cycle across multiple homes and progresses to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires on-campus residence, full-time schedule, and a two-spouse commitment with medical/dental benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Strong emphasis on youth mentorship, budget oversight, and fostering academic, emotional, and social development, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Must be comfortable leading devotional activities and adhering to campus codes (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
