Job Summary
Two-person married-couple position as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. The role involves living in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meal provisions.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation assistance provided
- On-campus housing and meals included
