Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple) live in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, guiding daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role transitions from nine days on / three off to a placed houseparent arrangement, with eventual shared home residence and continued student support. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, relocation assistance, paid time off, and housing meals and utilities. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
