Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person role) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The position involves budgeting, household reporting, and transitioning from a flex assignment to a placed home with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a legally married two-year relationship between spouses, both spouses aged 27+, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience with youth, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement options, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans/certification to drive required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
