Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person married couple residing on Milton Hershey School campus to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, with an eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role in the same student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role (must be legally married)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Two-person role for couples and ability to complete individual applications for consideration
