Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School, relocating to Hershey, PA. Married couples reside on-campus in student homes (8–13 students per home) and provide supervision, guidance, and support, including daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, development and recreational planning, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. After an initial nine-days-on, then three-days-off cycle, couples may transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Compensation includes $46,917 per person plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires two-person, two-year married status, age 27+, a high school diploma or GED, driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate integrity and professionalism and commit to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with restrictions on alcohol and pet limits. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
