Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Verona, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, supervise budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent role over time. Includes relocation assistance and paid training; nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- No alcohol on duty
- Desire to commit to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
