Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental and recreational activities, and lead daily devotions with Sunday Chapel. The position starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and may transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; high-school diploma or GED required; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be 27 or older. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain driver certification for student vans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year two-person married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Clean driving record
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Chapel services
- Ability to supervise and mentor youth
- Experience with youth preferred
