Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to reside on campus and care for a group of about 8–13 students in a home-like setting. The two-person team provides supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. They manage household routines, budgeting, and reporting, with a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group in their home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-year married partnership (legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married to a partner for at least two years
- No alcohol on duty
- Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free
