Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents on a static campus in Hershey, PA (with relocation from Parkersburg, WV). Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off scheduling to a placed Houseparent model living with the same student group. Benefits include a salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple with housing and other benefits), relocation assistance, comprehensive Benefits, paid time off, and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and being legally married for at least two years with both spouses aged 27 or older; on-campus housing and meals provided where applicable.
Required Qualifications

- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
