Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in a student home, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent in a consistent student home. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 (approximately $168,000 total per couple), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training. Qualifications require experience with youth, a two-spouse, legally married partnership for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, no more than three dependent children in the home, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation assistance and on-site housing are provided.
